I love the new show “Heroes” that airs on NBC on Monday nights at 8/9 pm. I LOVE it! My husband and I are totally hooked. So, you can imagine how excited I was when I was watching this weeks episode, and I saw a little something that was a reference to one of my other favorite shows (that sadly was cancelled during the 1st season…). This show, was “Wonderfalls.” I’ve only recently discovered Wonderfalls, and I’m not sure when it aired, or on what channel. I caught a re-run on TV one day on channel LOGO…and then I netflixed it. Awesome series, about a girl that all of a sudden hears inanimate objects talking to her and telling her to do things – these things always end up leading to good deeds, which is a constant point of contention for the main character. Anyway, in the first episode, a smoosh-faced lion from a wax vending machine talks to her. This wax lion was randomly placed in “Heroes.” It’s on the nightstand while Nikki and Micah are sleeping. I was really excited to see it! It was only on for about 3 seconds, but I caught it! Turns out, the co-executive producer on “Heroes” – Bryan Fuller – was the Executive Producer on Wonderfalls…that’s awesome! Enjoy this little image I made, highlighting the little wax lion :-D…OH…and watch “Heroes” and rent “Wonderfalls”!
