FAREWELL KIRBY…

A little bit of my childhood died today…Kirby Puckett. He was 45 years old. Kirby suffered a stroke on Sunday, and was taken off life support last night in Arizona. For a full article on this sad event, go here.

Kirby led the Twins to 2 World Series victories as I was growing up. He is, was, and always will be my favorite baseball player. Justin woke me up this morning to tell me the news and my heart just broke.

We’ll all miss you Kirby! Thanks for the great memories, and the wonderful years you played with the Twins! I’ll miss you big guy!

I’m sorry I made your morning sad.

I always liked Kirby, eventhough I am not a Twinkie fan.

I hope your day gets better.
